Description
St Wolfgang is a picturesque lakeside resort right in the heart of the Austrian Lake District. The Postalm ski area is reached by ski bus and offers 12kms of ski area with a good snow record. For more variety ski buses enable you to explore the Dachstein West ski area from Grosau which offers 45kms of piste suited to beginners and intermediates alike. These is a host of additional winter activities available in St Wolfgang including, cross country skiing, winter guided walks, skating on the lake (when frozen), sleigh rides and balloon rides. The spa resort of Bad Ischl is a short bus journey away.
