Description
The lake and mountain resort of Zell am See is one of Austria's best loved lakside towns. Set by the spectacular Lake Zell, you can partake in watersports or motor boat tours. The village centre is a bustling pedestrianised area with pavement cafes and a great selection of shops. There are several cable cars offering you a chance to get up into the mountains and take advantage of the great walks and spectacular panoramic views on offer. The railway station is located in the centre literally on the lake and has good connections to many Austrian towns and cities.
