Description
Fernie is well known amongst the expert skier for it's deep and steep terrain. Its slopes are usually uncrowded and backed up by an excellent snow record. The resort centre is located 5km away, but there is a small alpine resort at the foot of the mountains providing a small selection of bars and restaurants. The skiing accommodates beginners and experts extremely well, with a good selection to keep most intermediates occupied.
