Description

Argentiere is located 6kms from the famous ski resort of Chamonix. The village centre is in a lovely setting towards the head of the valley. Even though it has had its fair share of modern development, the village still retains its rustic appeal and is a good and much cheaper alternative to stay than Chamonix. You get to ski the Mont Blanc ski area which offers some fantastic expert skiing. For more information on this see the Chamonix resort chapter.
