Description
Châtel is a chalet style farming village built around an old church. Over the years it has extended, with more modern buildings spreading out to the skating lake on the Swiss border and down the mountain to Le Linga. Châtel is an authentic mountain village, with all the attractive alpine qualities you would expect. The skiing is relatively crowd free and caters very well for both beginners and intermediates alike. The link to the Portes du Soleil region allows for more adventure if you get bored of the slopes around the village.
