Description

Nestled high above the Aime valley in the magnificent Savoie Alps, La Plagne is an extensive ski area made up of 10 different villages. All are at varying heights, with many ski in-out apartment blocks positioned on the slopes. The area has now joined access with Les Arcs to form the Paradiski, allowing 425kms of runs. There is something to suit all here, whatever your level.

**Important information regarding the Vaniose cable car linke between La Plagne - Les Arcs**

News of the Vanoise Express closure hasn't gone down too well with people planning trips around skiing both La Plagne and Les Arcs. The latest word is that both cables on the lift will be replaced. Work should begin in May, with reopening scheduled for 20 December 2008!

For expert black run skiers/boarders who like off-piste La Plagne is excellent with the North Face of the Bellecote, Froilin, Roche de Mio etc etc and loads of through the tree gulleys.
