Description

Whilst being a well-known winter ski resort, Les Carroz has a thriving village community all year round. Sitting on a mountain plateau at 1140m, surrounded by majestic mountains, this typical Savoyard village with many cosy bars and restaurants offers a really warm welcome to its many visitors

Les Carroz is an easily accessible Haut Savoyard ski village (10 mins from the nearest motorway exit), offering snow sport enthusiasts the chance to enjoy one of the most beautiful Alpine ski areas: The Grand Massif. (see Grand Massif below)

The resort of Les Carroz, is blessed with an exceptional ski area amongst towering pine trees and breathtakingly steep slopes and equipped with the very latest infrastructure.
SOREMAC SEM (combined state & privately funded company), which has managed Les Carroz’s ski area since 1984, obtained the ISO 9001:2000 certificate in April 2007 and is planning one of the most ambitious investment projects over the next 5 years.

For self drive clients, there is ample parking at the foot of the lifts in Les Carroz where you can park you car all day - then drive back to your accommodation.

It only takes 6 minutes from Les Carroz to the heart of the Grand Massif ski area using the 8-place Kédeuse telecabine.
