Les Gets is a traditional village which lies in the Portes des Soleil region of France. With a picturesque village centre the resort has a wealth of activity opportunities as well as inviting shops, bars and restaurants. There is a lovely lake located close to the resort which is ideal for swimming. Chamonix is located within easy reach, making this resort perfect for all.

It is excellent for mountain biking and hiking with lifts operating all summer - 3 Les Gets, & 24 throughout the whole Portes du Soleil area.

LES GETS BIKE PARK, A MTB PARADISE FOR EVERYONE
• Access to the Portes du Soleil area and 650 km of MTB tracks.
• Colour coded tracks to match ski slope degrees of difficulty
• Runs ideal for all the family
• Runs for more hard-core riders
• MTB rules enforced to ensure biking and village life live happily side by side. Fines may be imposed if rules are not fully respected.
MTB lessons and guided rides with expert professional bikers.

During your stay in Les gets you will discover a whole range of especially prepared MTB circuits. Two types of circuits are offered :

FAMILY MTB SECTION : initiation and discovery circuits for adults and children.

VERY KEEN SECTION : experienced MTB searching for strong sensations and technique can explore the layout of the descents, Jump Park (zone of Dirt and Free Style), North Shore, Free ride and of course the cross country rides.


FOR THE WALKERS
The ski lift opening dates will be published on the Internet site www.sagets.fr.
For your comfort and safety, some lifts are reserved for pedestrians and others for mountain bikers and their bikes.

Swimming Lake
Lake open in July and August.
The bathing Lake is monitored by qualified personnel to guarantee everyone’s safety. The monitoring days and times are indicated at the entrance to the Lake. The average water temperature is 22°C in July and August.
