Description

Montgenevre is a high snow sure resort with a good record of being the snowiest in the Milky Way ski area. It offers excellent skiing whilst still retaining the charm of a traditional village.

Only steps from the Italian border, Montgenèvre combines the charm and authentic character of an alpine village in the Southern Alps with the grandeur of an vast international ski area, the Milky Way. More than 400 kilometres of slopes run from one side of the border to the other providing skiers with a vast range of ski area

Montgenevre position means easy access and is the only French resort connected to the Olympic domain in Sestrieres, Sauze d’Oulx and San Sicario. Turin international airport is just over an hour away, the TGV train station in Oulx (Italy) or Briancon (France) a 15 minute drive.

It offers 2 skiable sides : Le chalvet and les Gondrans. Thanks to its geographical location, it benefits from a maximum snow coverage and the fantastic sunshine record : 300 sunny days a year. Plenty of sunshine to enjoy going downhill... It's slopes offer a fantastic panoramic view on the Oisans, Queyras massif valleys and of course Italy.
