Description

Sainte Foy which is popular with families due to it's quiet friendly resort ambience, offers an excellent snow record backed up with uncrowded slopes even during the peak holidays.

Skiers, boarders and telemarkers alike will revel in the powder just yards from the pistes or amongst the trees, which lasts for days thanks to its north-west facing slopes.

There is also plenty to do on the "non" ski days a visit to the Sainte Foy spa centre with it's indoor heated pool, sauna and steam rooms is worth a visit. But also on offer is Ice-climbing, ski touring, snow shoeing for all ability levels.

For non skiers, Sainte-Foy is equally delightful to explore on foot or snow shoes. Take one of the mountain paths that winds its way throught the pine forests to one of the charming alpine hamlets or the marked routes of the Cascade (waterfall), the Drains (antique drainage channels), Plan St Andr and Plan Bois. Snow shoes can be rented from the ski shops at the resorts. Free snowshoeing map available at the tourist office
