Description
Valmorel is a purpose built resort, that offers the character and ambience of an older traditional resort. The resort was built almost completely from scratch during the 70's in protest against the concrete jungles that were emerging elsewhere. The resort is made up of little hamlets, built in traditional local slate that adds to the character. The skiing is suited mainly to beginners and lower intermediates to cruise leisurely on the extensive easy slopes.
