Description
Vaujany is a picturesque traditional resort perched in a panoramic position at 1250 m.
Situated in the magnificent Grandes Rousses Massif, the backdrop is rugged and spectacular. The resort in summer makes use of the winter ski lifts that provide access to the many walking and mountain bike trails on offer. The resort centre consists of a lower and upper village connected by a covered escalator and provides a selection of shops, cafes and restaurants.
There is plenty to do for the active client. A leisure centre with indoor pool and fitness centre for indoor days and plenty of outdoor acvitivies - Walking/hiking trails (90km), archery, fishing, tennis. The local mountain office offers half-day,day and two day accompanied hikes or mountain bike itineraries across the Grandes Rousses Massif to discover the local flora and fauna.
