Cervinia is a high snow sure resort, linked to Zermatt in Switzerland. It has an enviable snow and sunshine record and due to the compact resort centre, it offers good apres ski. One of the highest resorts in Italy, it is dominated by the impressive Matterhorn and is surrounded by some magnificent peaks.
