Description

Courmayeur is one of the most famous resorts in the Val 'Aoste, situated at the foot of the Mount Blanc mountain range, 1224 m above sea level. The beauty of the surrounding countryside, the modern facilities which allow summer skiing and its privileged location have made Courmayeur one of the most popular Alpine resorts in Italy. Chic, famous mountain village, situated at the foot of a mountain with beautiful view, 37 km north from Aosta. In the resort: supermarket, shops, grocers, boutiques, bank, restaurant, bar, cinema. Thermal pool.

Courmayeur has many walking and paths which run across the land between Plan Checrouit and Val Veny. Many open air sporting activities available: horse riding, golf, many tennis courts etc. The Mont Blanc sports centre, with its very attractive and beautiful ice rink, is one of the most spectacular in Europe.
