Description
Located on the southern shores of Lake Garda, Desenzano is a thrivin, cosmopolitan resort, which is as popular with the Italians as the British for holidays. The resort centre has a fashionable selection of boutiques and an antiques market is held in the square on the first Sunday of each month (except August). It offers historical and archeological interest dating back to Roman times. There is an open air swimming pool in the height of the season as well as two public beach areas safe for lake bathing.
