Description
A beautiful lake situated near to Lake Maggiore. The medievel town of Orta lies on the lakes eastern shore. Characterised by cobbled streets, old houses and a wealth of history, the resort centre which does not allow cars (except for access), enjoys an open square with restaurants and cafes on one side and the quayside to the other.
