Description

Situated directly on the French-Italian border at 1,360 - 2,823 m is the extensive Via Lattea ski area. Entrance to the ski area is possible from both the French and Italian side. With 400 kilometres of piste and 72 lifts, the "Milk Street" offers gigantic fun on the pistes to meet all demands! Via Lattea, which became famous through the 1997 Ski World Championship and the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, has many challenging runs. In the evening, one can enjoy "la dolce vita" in the cosy restaurants or enjoy the great après ski atmosphere in the bars and discos. Sauze d'Oulx - galactic fun for everyone!

The historic village west of Turin lies at 1,509 directly on the borders to France. Together with Sansicario, Cesana, Clavière, Sestrière and Montgenèvre, Sauze d'Oulx forms the wonderful piste area of the Via Lattea. With its most western village Montgenèvre, it even reaches to France. In the villages you will profit from the influences of both nationalities! You can stroll and enjoy "la dolce vita" or dine like a lord in France in the cosy, rustic restaurants and mountain lodges.
