Description
A chequered past that has shaped the future is what makes Sirmione and interesting town with contrasts of both modern and ancient. Jutting out at the end of a long peninsula on the southern end of Lake Garda, you can enjoy the fantastic scenery that this position brings with it. The resort centre with its Roman, Goth, Scaligers and Venetian influences is pedestrianised with narrow streets amongst attractive cafes, restaurants and elegant shops.
