Description

Samoëns is a resort town with direct access to the pistes, via the 8-person cars of the Grand Massif Express gondola lift. Thanks to its geographical location, the Grand Massif enjoys abundant, regular snowfalls throughout the season, and the area is well known for the quality of the snow in spring. Of course, 80% of the slopes are north-facing, allowing the snow to lie for longer and remain in good condition. The Grand Massif ski slopes are currently considered as one of the largest, finest domains in France. Everything is white, as far as the eye can see, and the summits of the Tëte des Saix, the Grandes Platiëres, the Dents Blanches and Mont Blanc dominate the scenery. The resort is easily reached from Geneva, 1 hour away so is ideal for weekend breaks or if you prefer a shorter travel time from the airport.
