Arosa is a beautiful lake resort, that paints the perfect winter picture. With activities on the lake as well as the mountains, there is plenty to entertain most. The “Schanfigg” is a 20 km long valley and is located in the canton Graubünden. The most famous resort in the valley is Arosa, which is especially popular as a winter sports and spa resort. In winter, the ski and hiking paradise offers 70 kilometres of piste and 60 kilometres of hiking trails to all mountain lodges in the area. Cross-country fans can enjoy 30 kilometres of track. The region has not closed itself off from all things modern, but has still retained its original charm.
The diverse village is surrounded by a fascinating mountain landscape and forested slopes. Skiing is centred on the Hörnli, Weißhorn and Brüggerhorn mountains. Whether pretty houses, distinguished hotels or youthful backpacker hotels - the right accommodation can be found for everyone. Restaurants, bars and classy shops invite you in to spend a bit.
