Description
Located at the northern most end of Lake Maggiore, Locarno is surrounded by delightful alpine scenery with a sunny mediterranean climate. It lies on the edge of the Maggia river delta as it flows into the lake. Locarno has a beautiful old waterfront town dominated by vine clad hillsides. The climate, location and scenery make the Italian speaking side of Switzerland a fantastic place to stay.
