Description

Zermatt has one of the most impressive locations in the world. Surrounded by three mighty peaks, the Monte Rosa, Dom and Matterhorn, you get jawdropping scenery whichever way you look. The village has a variety of shops, restaurants and bars and is typically Swiss with window boxes overflowing with colourful flowers. Horse drawn carriages and electric taxis provide some transport as the resort itself is traffic-free. With miles of walking trails and fantastic mountain railways, you can easily access the high alpine meadows with the wild flowers and dramatic scenery.
