In the midst of Brixental, at 780 m altitude and on a sunny high plateau, lays the lovely winter sports resort Westendorf. Besides a welcoming atmosphere and real Tyrolean cosiness, you will also find first-class winter sports fun here! Only a stone's throw away is the access point to Austria's largest interconnected ski area, which offers loads of enjoyment in the snow: the "SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental". The local ski area Westendorf is a real Mecca for snowboarders and cross-country skiers. There is a good selection of well prepared cross-country tracks to be found in the region.
