Description

58 km southeast of Rovaniemi, Lake Siika-Kama 20 m (lake length of 2 km, width 800 m), gently sloping beach, hard sand / rock bottom, jetty, own boat. Comfortable farmhouse "La Pedriza".

Wooden small house, built in 1970, completely renovated and modernized. Living room with sofa bed, alcove with 2 beds, kitchenette, shower room / toilet, hallway. Wireless internet connection (wifi). Separate sauna 20 m, steam room (wood-burning stove and hot water tank on stove) and living room. Sauna with electric light and during summer time running water, during winter you have to carry water to sauna from the main building with buckets. In addition, during April-October: two sleeping huts (8 m²and 5 m²), both with a double bed, electric light and electric heating. At that time 8 persons allowed to stay! Campfire site on the beach in summer time. In shared use with one other cottage: 1 km long nature trail with a lean-to and an outdoor fireplace (can be used also in winter time). Pet fee 30 e/booking. Own peace, safety and quiet place in a fine beach landscape. The nearest neighbor is the owner. The cottage has own yard, own road and 150 m of private beach. Good fishing possibilities right off the beach. Cloudberry marshes and other berry areas nearby. In summers, approximately during 15.6. - 30.9., there are sheeps and chickens at the owner's farm, about 100 m from the cabin. Occasionally the owner might bring sheeps also in a corral at the cottage. Guest can visit the owner's farm to see the animals. The owner makes skiing tracks (length of about 5 km) from the yard of the cottage. Sledding hill and snow sledges available. Snowmobile rides and guidance services available by separate price from the owner. Possibility to buy transfer service from/to the airport by separate agreement / price. Ranua Zoo 50 km, Ounasvaara ski resort 60 km, Arctic Circle 70 km.
