Chalet Schuss stands by the side of the piste, and thus offers the true luxury of ski in ski out convenience. At an altitude of 1275 meters, high above the valley floor, the chalet also boasts one of the best views in the valley. This view cannot only be enjoyed from the enormous floor to ceiling living room windows, but also from the chalet's large sunny deck, the hot tub and the sauna.

Chalet Schuss sleeps eight in five en suite bedrooms. The chalet has an open plan sitting and dining room, providing ample space for relaxing in front of a roaring log fire, as well as a TV and games room for the children to escape to.

Our aim is to provide affordable luxury, with the emphasis on delicious food and wine, spacious and comfortable accommodation and a welcoming and friendly service. And, as owner/operators we are also able to provide that special home from home feel, coupled with an insider's knowledge of the Chamonix valley.

LOCATION
Chalet Schuss is situated by the side of the legendary piste, La Kandaher, in Les Houches. Les Houches is one of the five ski areas in the Chamonix valley. Chamonix itself is only a 10 minute drive away. Should you wish to ski the other areas in the valley or go into town for a bit of shopping or apres ski, we provide a complementary all day minibus service from 8 am - 10 pm.

The chalet is also approached through its own woodland, making it a very private and idyllic holiday getaway.

All our chalets are non-smoking.

Minibus
We trust that the self drive guests are happy to use their own vehicles, although they are welcome to use this service. Please respect departure and collection times. We are unable to offer the minibus service between 9.30a.m. and 4.00p.m., and due to staff day off the service is unavailable on Wednesdays.

In the event of break down, bad weather, illness, accident or priority use, Chalet 1802 cannot guarantee that the resort vehicle will be able to transport client/s within and between resorts. The resort operated by Chalet 1802 has an adequate free public bus system. The minibus service that Chalet 1802 operates is a gratuitous service and any client travelling in a resort vehicle does so at his/her own risk. Priority use of the vehicle goes to clients who fly.
