Chalet 1802 is a traditional Savoyard farm dating from 1802, and is ideally located just 200m from the ski lifts and 400m from the village center. This beautiful, spacious chalet is newly renovated and has been sympathetically restored to retain much of its original charm and atmosphere.

The chalet boasts 7 en-suites, either twin or double, with one bunk room. There is a large sitting area with a log fire, French doors opening out onto a large terrace with spectacular views, and a separate dining area. Downstairs you will find another large and comfortable TV room equipped with a wide-screen TV and stocked with DVDs, videos, books and board games. Should you wish to keep in contact with the outside world there is a laptop with WIFI internet access. There is also a large hot tub, a sauna and a heated boot room.

LOCATION

The Farmhouse is situated in the charming village of Les Houches - one of the five ski areas in the Chamonix valley. The chalet is just 200m from the ski lifts, and a short walk to the village center. Chamonix itself is just a 10 minute car journey. Should you decide not to ski locally, Chalet 1802 provides a complementary in-resort minibus service to drive you to and from the other ski areas in the valley, as well as into Chamonix for that all important apres ski. (This service runs between 8-10 am and 4-10pm. Should you wish to travel outside of these hours there is a free bus which stops just 200m from the chalet's front door.)

HOUSE RULES - No smoking in the chalet. Please bring some indoor shoes for wearing inside the chalet.

Minibus
We trust that the self drive guests are happy to use their own vehicles, although they are welcome to use this service. Please respect departure and collection times. We are unable to offer the minibus service between 9.30a.m. and 4.00p.m., and due to staff day off the service is unavailable on Wednesdays.

In the event of break down, bad weather, illness, accident or priority use, Chalet 1802 cannot guarantee that the resort vehicle will be able to transport client/s within and between resorts. The resort operated by Chalet 1802 has an adequate free public bus system. The minibus service that Chalet 1802 operates is a gratuitous service and any client travelling in a resort vehicle does so at his/her own risk. Priority use of the vehicle goes to clients who fly.
