Chalet Simplet, is an extremely spacious 5 bedroom fully catered ski chalet that can sleep 12 people in comfort. It boasts an outdoor Hot Tub with fantastic views across the valley, and an open log fire to help you relax after a hard day on the slopes! Situated just 400 metres from the picturesque village of Chatel it is perfectly located for easy access to the ski lifts, crèche, ski schools, and local bars and restaurants.

Chatel is located just an hour and a half drive from Geneva airport and is just minutes from the Swiss border. The village itself is a beautiful and traditional french farming village with plenty of great restaurants and local bars for you to enjoy the all important apres ski drinks!

The local ski lifts give immediate access to the Massive Portes Du Soleil Ski area, the largest linked ski area in the world, with over 650km of linked pistes across two countries. From Chatel you can ski across the border into Switzerland, or over to Avoriaz, Morzine, or Les Gets, all on one lift pass!

Chatel and the Portes Du Soleil both have an enviable snow record. Their proximity to Mont Blanc and Lac Leman creates a micro-climate which means that the area tends to get significant snowfall from the start of November through to when the lifts close in late April.

Because most of the lower slopes are pasture land, depths of 10-20cms are often all that is required to open the pistes, compared with higher altitude resorts where a metre or so is needed to cover the rocks

Chalet Simplet is a beautifully built spacious alpine chalet, designed and furnished to a very high standard. It offers 5 very spacious bedrooms, one of which can sleep 4 people. Each bedroom has built in wardrobes and lovely soft furnishings, equipped with fluffy towels, and bathrobes.

Two of the bedrooms have doors opening onto a south facing balcony, and all have breathtaking mountain views.

Some of the bedrooms are large enough to accommodate an extra bed if required.

One of the bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom, and the other 4 bedrooms share two large family bathrooms, all equipped with hairdryers for your convenience.

The spacious open plan living area is furnished to a high standard with flat screen TV, Sky channels, and DVD with large selection of films to choose from. There is also a CD Player and ipod docking station for you to chill out to your favourite music.

From the living area, patio doors lead to a beautiful south facing balcony with spectacular views across the valley.

The lounge has a lovely log fire for you to relax in front of with a pre dinner drink and some tempting canapes before moving to the dining area where you will be served a delicious four course evening meal freshly prepared and beautifully presented by your chalet hosts. The bright spacious dining area seats up to 12 people comfortably.

On the top floor, the mezzanine affords you the opportunity to relax with a book or watch a DVD in peace.

Outside there is off road parking, and at the side of the chalet, the hot tub where you can relax, sip champagne and look out across the valley......

Chalet Simplet is located just a 5 minute stroll from the beautiful Chatel village centre. In the right snow conditions competent skiers can ski right back to the rear of the chalet.

Ground Floor
One double bedroom and One quad room which has two single beds and a bunkbed share a family bathroom. This area is ideal for families who want to be located together.

First Floor
Open plan lounge, dinning area, kitchen, balcony, and WC

Second Floor
Three further bedrooms, One double with ensuite shower room, and two twin rooms which share a further large family bathroom.

Here you will also find the mezzanine area which has a comfy sofa and TV/DVD.

The chalet is available for sole use of your group as well as individual bookings throughout Winter & Summer
