Chalet Edelweiss is a beautifully furnished quaint chalet lovingly restored. It is perfectly positioned in the centre of Montchavin, an authentic Savoyarde village and a vibrant ski station, at the heart of the Paradiski area. As night falls the village lights make for a magical setting in this picturesque mountain village.

The chalet is just 150m to the piste, with easy access to ski hire, ski school meeting points, bars, restaurants, the crèche and the night-club. Only 20 minutes to the link to Les Arcs. Access by vehicle to the centre of the village is strictly controlled which means there is very little noise to disturb the tranquillity.

The chalet accommodation sleeps 8-9 people with 5 bedrooms consisting of:

The chalet is well equipped to entertain our guests with plasma TV, DVD and video players, games, books, hifi and wifi. A selection of DVDs and videos will be available in the chalet but feel free to bring your own. We have wireless broadband, which will allow guests to read their emails in the privacy of their own rooms. There are 2 private parking places a short distance from the chalet.

The village of Montchavin also has coffee bars, shops and a small cinema showing original version films a couple of times a week.

We supply all the bed linen and towels. Outdoor shoes are not allowed in the chalet so it is a good idea to bring slippers or indoor shoes. Please note this is a non-smoking chalet, however you are welcome to smoke on the balcony.

Our chalet is in the heart of the Paradiski area (420km of piste) offering more than enough variety for any level of skier or snowboarder. The Paradiski area comprises of the 2 huge ski areas of La Plagne and Les Arcs linked by the new Vanoise Express cable car. Les Coches is perfectly placed in the centre giving quick and easy access to both areas. The chalet is situated in the mountain village of Les Coches a village of traditional style buildings with a combination of old world character and contemporary comfort, with a few local restaurants and bars. There are 2 bars and 1 night club open till late for those of you who can dance until 4am!

Travel information : Nearest train station is Landry for people arriving by TGV and then Bourg St Maurice for people arriving by Eurostar. We don’t use Aime station as we get caught up in traffic for the transfer.

La Plagne Resort : For any experts who like off-piste La Plagne is excellent with the North Face of the Bellecote, Froilin, Roche de Mio etc etc and loads of through the tree gulleys.
