The Resorts:

A ten minutes walk down the hill or two minutes drive takes you to the ski slopes and the charming village of Praz sur Arly where you will find all of the ski hire shops, restaurants and groceries you will need for your holiday.

A seven minutes drive round the mountain takes you to the picturesque town and ski slopes of Megeve, one of the prettiest resorts in France. Megeve is one of only twelve classic alpine villages classed as a 'Best of the Alps' resort and the car-free, cobbled centre with its wonderful choice of restaurants, exclusive shops and galleries is well worth a visit.

Skiing:

Chalet les Cimes is on the doorstep of over 500 kilometers of skiing slopes across two world-class resorts: Praz sur Arly is one of the five resorts which make up the vast Espace Diamant ski area, the other four resorts linked to Praz are Flumet; Crest-Voland; Notre Dame de Bellecombe and Les Saisies, one of the most snow-sure resorts in the Alps. There are 146 pistes over 175km in the Espace Diamant.

The world-renowned skiing resort of Megeve is less than 10 minutes away by car and offers an additional 325km of tree-lined pistes with superb skiing and snowboarding for all levels. The magnificent mountain peaks rise to 2,350meters, offering stunning views across to Mont Blanc and excellent snow conditions right through to mid-April.

In addition to the two resorts on our doorstep, the resorts of Les Contamines, Saint-Gervais (with its tramway link to Les Houches) and Chamonix can all be reached comfortably for an alternative day's skiing.

Summer Holidays at Chalet les Cimes

Chalet les Cimes has a pretty garden with sun loungers, BBQ and picnic table and a lovely south-facing balcony and terrace. The tennis courts, quad-biking, play ground and hot air ballooing are all a short stroll away as well as hours of mountain walks straight from the chalet door.

Praz sur Arly and Megeve make wonderful, action-packed holiday destinations in the summer months with a busy calendar of events available throughout the school holidays.

Many of the lifts and mountain restaurants open for the summer season offering breath-taking views and excellent hiking and mountain-biking aross the two resorts.
