Description
Grand Hotel situated in central location on a room only basis for dining flexibility.
Built in 1840 in the centre of Chamonix the hotel has always been a symbol of Savoyard hospitality, blending traditional warmth with elegant, contemporary aesthetics. If you're aching after skiing, the wellness centre offers a wave-swimming pool and Jacuzzi, as well as Turkish bath, sauna and steam rooms to help relax you. Spa treatments are available too (payable in resort). The lounge area is a perfect place to sit and relax at the end of a day on the mountain. You can read a book, play a board game or listen to music around the fireplace whilst you recharge your batteries for the evening. Accommodation is on a room only basis. Situated in the centre of town on the main pedestrian street of Chamonix, Rue du Dr Paccard, the Grand Hotel des Alpes is in a perfect central location. For skiing - Both the the Plan Praz ski lift and Brévent area as well as the Aiguille de Midi cable car are about 600 metres away.
