Description
One of the south Tirols most beautiful towns, Merano has elegance and charm combined with a mild climate. It is sheltered by high mountains and surrounded by orchards and vineyards. The fast flowing Passirio river which runs through Merano is bordered by promenades with cafes, elegant buildings and parks. It offers a blend of Italian and Tyrolean cultures, reflected in the food and the people.
