Description
Morzine is a popular alpine resort and a great base for exloring the massive Portes du Soleil region of France.
The resort has kept the appearance of a village from another time: wooden facades, carved balconies and slate-covered roofs... and local slate at that! To discover the personality of the village, the weekly guided tour of the local area is strongly recommended
Morzine offers a variety of activities for all ages and abilities. The resort boasts and Olympic swimming pool, adventure park and summer luge. There are numerous walking and mountain bike trails covering the area. Two golf courses are also available in the area.
The local creche "l'Outa" welcomes children from the age of 3 months up to 5 years into their impressive Savoyard style chalet, which is surrounded by a vast garden. Please see the tourist office link for further details.
