Description
Mayrhofen has long been a favourite with the British. The resort has no runs to the village and the lift out to the slopes can get quite busy in high season and weekends. A very pretty village that's quite large and very noisy nightlife is available should you need it, but can easily be avoided if not. The ski school here has an enviable reputation as does the childrens club. This is why it's popular with families. Although a low lying resort the snow cover has a fairly good record and boosted by the Hintertux glacier nearby.
