Once you touch down at your arrival airport you have several options available to you, to get to your resort. Some companies offer a transfer service already included in the holiday price and in this case you will either be met by the company representative or by the driver and escorted to your taxi/bus to depart for the resort. If however your transfers are not included, you have the option of either taking public transport, hiring a car, private taxi transfer or a shared bus transfer.

Public transport on mainland Europe is typically efficient and good value. Shared bus transfer to the resort can often be the cheapest option, although not all resorts are served by this service, and it does tend to be the larger better known resorts in France that benefit from this method.

The final option we recommend is a private shared taxi. The cost of this to the individual does naturally depend on the size of the group, but if you can fill the taxi this can be a reasonably priced and very convenient option. Please follow the links below for more details.

North American resort transfers

The best way to get from the airport to the resort is by car. Also it is worth bearing in mind that most of the accommodation in the North American resorts are often a short drive away from the slopes. So a hire car usually makes the most sense, and also allows you the freedom to conveniently explore the area you are visiting.
