Description

The Pass Thurn is located at 1,274 m altitude in the Kitzbühel Alps. The closest located resorts in the valley which connects Tyrol with Pinzgau, are Kitzbühel in the north and Mittersill in the south. The Alpine pass, which was formed by glaciers in the last ice age, is ideal for all enthusiasts of cross-country skiing and therefore provides a very special experience. At 1,250 m altitude lies the 22 km long Hochmoor-track, which offers not only a great view of the Hohe Tauern but also romantic, white forests which emit a wonderful feeling of tranquillity. Skier and snowboarders will also find an ideal access point to the ski area of Kitzbühel here: the chair lift "Resterhöhe" takes you up the mountain in the blink of an eye. From Hollersbach you can take the panorama lift up to the mountain station.
