Description
365 km northwest of Rovaniemi, 125 km north of Muonio, at the junction of Konkamaeno river and Vuoskujoki river, on the opposite shore of Sweden. Comfortable farmhouse "La Pedriza".
Konkamaeno river 200 m, Vuoskujoki river 100 m, natural riverbed, own glass fiber river boat. Log cottage, built in 2014, living room / kitchen, alcove with double bed (alcove is spacious and has no curtain), loft with 4 bed mattress, sauna with electric stove, washroom, separate toilet, partially covered terrace and storage. Brick built barbecue place. A wood fired hot tub integrated into the terrace (available for extra charge only, during 1.5 - 31.10). Note! Cottage is not suitable for the persons allergic to animals even if animals are forbidden in this cottage. Konkamaeno is a fishy river, the species also includes salmon. On the riverbed there are Trout and grayling. Fishing permits, see. Item 2502 Tornionjoki - Muonionjoki - Konkamaeno (www.eraluvat.fi). You can fish at the 1515 Enontekio Wilderness License (www.eraluvat.fi). Extensive reef hunting areas start right from the boundary of the log cabin (see item 1613 Kasivarsi, www.eraluvat.fi). The area is also known for its good cloudberry areas. The Victoria route (snowmobile trail) runs 50 m from the cottage, so the cottage is also well suited for snowmobilers. Summer cafe Ropin Pirtti 16 km. Sturmbock-Stellung Castle and Museum Exhibition 18 km. Karesuvanto and border crossing point to Sweden 36 km, Hetta 60 km, Kilpisjarvi and border crossing point to Norway 75 km.
