Description

315 km to the north from Rovaniemi, 48 km to the southwest from Inari, river Lemmenjoki, lake Aivihjarvi, distance 40 m, quickly deepening beach, small stones on the bottom, own rowing boat. Comfortable farmhouse "La Pedriza".

Massive square log cabin, inner walls are paneled, built in 1990. Living room/kitchen with spreadable sofa, bedroom with 2 beds, sauna, washroom/WC, sauna, covered veranda. There is no TV in this cabin. Barbecue hut, which is shared among four cottages. The cabin is in four-cabin community, near the owner's reindeer farm (distance to house is about 100 m). There is a reindeer fence in the owner's yard where you can often see reindeers. The owner can sell you reindeer meat products. The cabin is surrounded by the magnificent landscapes of Lemmenjoki, the river Lemmenjoki flows through the lake Aivihjarvi. Lemmenjoki national park, which is located closest 200 m behind the river and lake, is easy to reach from the cabin by using own boat included in the cabin. Distance to the opposite lake shore is 550 m. Distance to the national park is 7 km along the road. Tourist facilities of Lemmenjoki are near (6 km). There are versatile transportation and trip supply in Njurgalahti (6 km), for example, transports to Lemmenjoki gold digging areas and to Ravadaskongas waterfall, equipment rental etc. (see www.luontoon.fi). In Njurgalahti, there are nature trail (length 4 km) and mountain route of Joenkielinen (length 16 km). Along the boat route, there is access to the hiking trail Ravadasjarvi - Morgamojan Kultala - Kultasatama - Ravadasjarvi (length 26.5 km, www.luontoon.fi). Fishing: Fishing in Lemmenjoki national park is only permitted with angling permit, area 1562 Lemmenjoki (see www.eraluvat.fi). Hunting: Small game hunting in the state owned lands, area 1610 Hammastunturi (www.eraluvat.fi). Village of Inari, the Sami museum and nature centre Siida and Sami culture centre Sajos 48 km.
