Description

430 km to the north from Rovaniemi, 110 km to the northeast from Inari, lake Nilijarvi 45 m (length 1,6 km, width 0,4 km) shallow beach, sand bottom, pier, own rowing boat. Comfortable farmhouse "La Pedriza".

Kelo log villa, built in 2000. Living room kitchen, bedroom with double bed, alcove with double bed, loft with 4 beds in two different compartments, 2 extra mattresses, sauna, washroom/WC, separate WC and glazed terrace. Lakeside sauna (24 m²), available from the beginning of June until the end of September. Wood-burning sauna stove, washroom (2 showers), running water from the lake available in summer (otherwise water must be brought by using bucket) and fireplace hut. Equipment: electric lights, fireplace room with light fireplace and electric heating, 3 beds and kitchenette with sink, fridge and 2 hot plates. Bed linen (sheets and towels) for the number of people booked is included in the booking. Final cleaning is included in bookings made on or after 14.3.22. Nilimella is a magnificent kelo log villa near the lake Sevettijarvi. There are a few neighboring cabins, otherwise a quiet place. This is an excellent base for wilderness activities and nature holidays in the northeastern side of Lapland. Fishing: famous salmon fishing river Naatamojoki within 16 km (no road connection, 8 km walking distance). In summer, flying taxi (float plane) operates from Sevettijarvi. Fishing permits and additional information, see destination 1565 Naatamojoki (www.eraluvat.fi). The destination 1564 Inari Wilderness covers large areas of fishing waters nearby cabin (www.eraluvat.fi). Fishing in lakes is permitted with fisheries management fee. One fishing rod and one lure can be used. However, fishing is not allowed in flowing water areas. For more information, see www.eraluvat.fi You can book snowmobile transports to ice fishing waters from the owner. Hunting: The cabin is located near the state owned small game hunting area Vatsari (only willow grouse). See destination 1606 Vatsari (www.eraluvat.fi). Destination 1605 Naatamo within 5 km distance from the cabin at the closest (www.eraluvat.fi). The wide range of destinations provides excellent opportunities for small game hunting. Sevettijarvi is the center of Skolt Sami Heritage in the north. Orthodox church, Skolt Sami Heritage House and handcraft exhibition (open in summer) 1,5 km. Naatamo and border crossing point to Norway 35 km. Shops and fuel sales in Naatamo.
