Description
365 km north of Rovaniemi, river Kaamasjoki 30 m, width of river 85 m in cottage vicinity, shore in its natural state, quiet waters, deep bottom, rapids Tuurukoski 500m away. Comfortable farmhouse "La Pedriza".
Log cottage, built in 1989. Living room / kitchen with sofa bed, bedroom with double bed, another bedroom with 2 single beds. Electric sauna, bathroom, dressing room / room with fireplace, separate toilet, terrace. Barbecue hut by the river, campfire site and lean-to on the yard. Tuurutieva is spacious, Lappish-style cottage in a very quiet location by the big river. No neighboring cottages. River Kaamasjoki is very suitable for fishing. Licences www.eraluvat.fi /1583 Kaamasjoki, Kielajoki. The tap water of the cottage is river water. Drinking water is recommended to bring along. Kaamanen village shop and restaurant services are well reachable, within 7 km. Kaamanen, in the heart of northern Lapland, is an excellent base for excursions to Karigasniemi, Utsjoki, Sevettijarvi and all the way to Norway and the Arctic Ocean. Center of Inari, Sami Museum, Siida Nature Center and Sami Culture Center Sajos 35 km. Karigasniemi 66 km, Ivalo 75 km, Utsjoki 90 km, Saariselka 105 km. Airport transfer can be ordered from the owner. Cottage road, last stage 1.7 km is bumpy and requires carefulness for car driver. However, the road is accessible by car. One sack of firewood is included in the booking, more can be purchased from the cottage's owner.
