Description
31 km north of Kuusamo, Lake Purnujarvi 200 m (length 2 km, width 1.2 km), shared swimming beach 400 m, shallow, hard moraine bottom, rowing boat shared among 10 apartments. Comfortable farmhouse "La Pedriza".
Log terraced house with three apartments, built in 1990, living room/kitchen, 2 bedrooms: 2 beds in each one (width 120 cm), sleeping loft with 4 beds, washroom, sauna (elec. stove), open porch. Total of 10 apartments in cottage area, with shared swimming beach and rowing boats. Good "base camp" for downhill and cross country skiers, hikers and Fisher men (there is for example whitefish in Lake Purnujarvi). One baby cot can get use, if inform advance. WiFi, free use. Other distances: Pieni Karhunkierros Trail 17km, Riisitunturi Fell 23km. Reservations start at 16.00 and end at 12.00 (also weekend bookings).
