Description
28 km north of Kuusamo, Ruka 6.5 km (by skiing track 1,5 km), Valkeisenlampi pond 50 m, deep based shore, pier. Comfortable farmhouse "La Pedriza".
Plank-built holiday apartment, built in 1988, bedrooms 1-2: 2 beds in each, combined kitchen/living room, electric sauna, shower, wc. Additional equipment: Internet connection (cable and wireless, speed 150Mb). Other distances: Oulanka National Park / Pieni Karhunkierros Trail 20 km, Riisitunturi Fell 26 km. In summer Valkeisenvaara Trail 50 m. Additional information: Walking to Ruka village (Western Ruka) 1.6 km along the hiking route. Nearest ski lift is Pessari, which can be reached by skiing down the steep slope and over the ice of Yli-Pessari -pond. Reservations start at 16.00 and end at 12.00 (also in weekend bookings).
