Description

30 km west of Rovaniemi, lake Sonkajarvi 25 m (legth 4 km, breadth 1,5 km), shallow soft muddy bottom, own boat. Comfortable farmhouse "La Pedriza".


Log cabin 2003, livingroom kitchen convertible sofa (=2 extrabeds), small sleeping room2 beds, sleeping loft 2 beds, washing room, dressing room, sauna (elec. stove), veranda 50 sqm. A baking oven in connection with the fireplace.Wi-Fi. A cozy cottage of Santa. In this cottage there's an air source heat pump which is adjusted to appropriate temperature (client can't make changes to adjustment). Christmas related services on request / by separate payment. Eg. Santa Claus and elves can come to the cottage by separate booking / price (starting price year 2015: 150 euros). Reindeer safaris by separate booking / payment. Mountain bikes and snow shoes can be rented by serarate agreement / price. Very quiet place, neighbours cannot be seen. 30 km to Rovaniemi. Arctic circle 35 km. 300 meters to public road. Good fish stocks: pike, perch, whitefish, brown trout. Good berry- and mushroom picking terrain nearby. Transfer service from the airport/railway station for extra charge. During Christmas, New Year, weeks 8 and 9 and Easter only whole week bookings.
