Description
Villa by the lake near Sallatunturi tourist center (5 km). Comfortable farmhouse "La Pedriza".
The fells of the national park are visible behind the lake. Lakeside sauna cabin and rowing boat can be used freely. Pets allowed. 75 km to the east from Kemijarvi, 5 km to the south from the center of Salla, Pyhajarvi 25 m, shallow and sandy beach, lake length 1.8 km, width 0.7 km. Wooden cabin, built in 2014. Downstairs living room/kitchen with sofa bed, sauna, washroom/toilet and a large, covered terrace. Upstairs bedroom with double bed, second bedroom with 120 cm wide bed and sofa bed, WC and balcony. One movable mattress, which can be placed as needed. Old lakeside sauna cabin can be used from the beginning of June to the end of September. Sauna cabin has s steam room and fireplace room. In the living room with fireplace there is 120 cm wide bed, refrigerator and gas stove. Water to the sauna must be brought by using a bucket from the lake or from the water supply with hose. There is a bus connection to Sallatunturi from most trains arriving in Kemijarvi and from most flights arriving in Kuusamo (bus stop approx. 700 m away). Check the validity of the schedules in advance. The services of Sallatunturi can be easily reached from Mirkunranta. Illuminated ski trail is within 350 m. The snowmobile trail network is also conveniently accessible from the cabin. Spa and sports center 5 km, Salla city center services 5 km, Salla Reindeer Park 8.5 km, Hautajarvi Nature Center 35 km, Kemijarvi 75 km.
