Description

Les Sept Laux is set in the heart of the Bellendonne mountains spread over three villages Prapoutel, Pipay and Le Pleynet boasting 120km of runs from 1350m up to a height of 2400m. The area has a good record of snow and an extensive snow canon network. The lift system is modern with 90% having been replaced over the last few years and there are 21 lifts (12 Pomma, 9 Chairlifts and one Telecabine) and there are 37 pistes of which there 7 are green, 6 blue, 14 red and 10 black. The resort is perfect for all types of skiers ranging from beginners who can take lessons right outside the chalets through to experts either on the black runs or on the extensive off-piste in the area. As well as the piste, Les Sept Laux also boasts one of the largest snow parks in Europe designed by the H.O.5 Park group, featuring many varied obstacles for snowboarders (visit www.ho5park.com for more information). Until recently although very well know across France the resort has been largely undiscovered by the British market and Mountain Heaven Ltd are very pleased to announce that they are the first British tour operator to offer holidays in this exciting new resort. Les Sept Laux is only half an hour from Grenoble (one hour from the airport) and has over the years been the destination of choice for the local Grenoble population. Now with the arrival of 'Les Granges des Sept Laux' and the opening up of Grenoble airport to budget airlines, the resort is now attracting international skiers. The resort hosts a number of restaurants, shops, bars and a cinema all only two minutes away from the chalet apartments, together with an open air ice skating rink and lots of other activities making it also a very good destination for non skiers. You can get transfers from Grenoble airport at www.exclusive-transfer.com or taxi transfer. Visit the tourist office via the link on the right to see the bus timetables from Grenoble to resort.
