110 m2. 1 pet/ dog allowed. The zum Leist apartment, with an unobstructed view of the surrounding mountains, is located in a vacation complex in the Arvenbuel district of Amden on the top floor of a quiet two-story apartment building and is accessible via a staircase.
More information by the provider: The 4-room zum Leist apartment is designed in country house style, making you feel at home from the very first moment. The spacious apartment can be entered through an entrance hall with a closet and sideboard. To the right and left, you can enter the 3 bedrooms and straight ahead, you will find the spacious living area with an open kitchen and window front. Through a sliding door, you enter the sunny balcony with a beautiful view of the mountain panorama, including the two mountains that give the house its name: the Ammler "Leistkamm" and the "Leist" (the highest point of the Flumserberg ski resort) in the Glarus Alps opposite. The master bedroom with en-suite bathroom has a double bed (180x200 cm) with two bedside tables and bedside lamps, two wicker armchairs with a small table and a closet. The en-suite bathroom, decorated in pink/gold, is equipped with a toilet, a washbasin and a built-in sideboard. In the guest room, there is a queen-size bed (160x200 cm) with a view through the skylight (which can be blacked-out) into the starry sky, two bedside tables and lamps, clothes racks, a large mirror with a dressing table, a sofa, a radio/CD player and a large selection of books in German. The children's room is equipped with a loft bed (90x200 cm) featuring a slide as well as a bunk bed consisting of two narrow beds (80x200 cm), which can also be placed next to each other on request and used as a queen-size bed (160x200 cm) or another child's bed, a large desk with lamp and shelf as well as board games and a radio/CD player. The living area, furnished with a comfortable sofa and two stools and two wicker armchairs each, with a rustic fireplace including firewood, forms together with the open kitchen the feel-good heart of this apartment. The kitchen is equipped as follows: large dining table with 6 comfortable wicker chairs (the table can be extended to 8 seating places on request), electric glass-ceramic stove, convection oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee machine (Nespresso), kettle, cheese fondue, meat fondue and raclette set. From the living room, a spiral staircase with railing leads to the gallery, where the TV (satellite & via mobile also connectable with streaming services) and comfortable seating options, including a sofa, a beanbag and two small children's wicker chairs with table, are located. From the living room, you can also access the second bathroom with WC, washbasin with cabinet and shower stall. On the partially covered balcony, a large table with 6 chairs as well as two armchairs and a small table invite you to linger. On request, a simple sauna and a washing machine with a dryer in the basement of the house are available for shared use. In total, it offers a generous 110 square meters of living space and can accommodate up to 6 people. One underground parking space with access from the staircase is reserved. The ski slope and the diverse hiking area with the Monte Mio mountain restaurant, the Leistkamm cafe and the Arvenbuel restaurant are right on the doorstep. The village of Amden with the indoor swimming pool and the Volg and Mini Spar grocery stores as well as the Lowen cafe with a bakery and pastry store can be reached by car in less than 10 minutes or by bus every hour from the next bus stop "Arvenbuel, Arven" (100 m from the apartment). From Amden, the Mattstock chairlift serves as a shuttle to the hiking and skiing area of the same name. The journey from the apartment all the way down into the valley to Weesen and Lake Walen takes about 15 minutes by car and 27 minutes by bus from the bus station. The Amden Weesen vacation region is located in Switzerland in the canton of St. Gallen and impresses with its diversity and extensive range of leisure activities: Leisurely boat trips on Lake Walen, walks along the shore in the Mediterranean microclimate, swimming in the crystal-clear water, the spectacular Seerenbach Falls, family-friendly hikes with adventure playgrounds, impressive viewpoints as well as various via ferrata routes.
